    One Beta Com'n Up.

I stopped by the Embassy Health clinic today and talked to the physician’s assistant. She said that the cramps I’m having (every day off and on all day) are probably just my uterus starting to enlarge and it is common/normal to have the cramping.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

We also made arrangements for me to come in early next week (mon or tues) for my first beta.

I don’t feel pregnant, except for the cramping I really don’t have any symptoms. My breast are less sore than when I first started the progesterone, though my nipples are still very sensitive.

    But that’s it.

I pee a lot, but I do that anyway.

Needless to say I’m nervous, I think I will have to test again tomorrow morning.

Add me to the cramping camp. With both pgs (this one and the miscarried one), I had enough cramping to make me think my period was coming (especially with my previous pg). This time I kind of expected it and it did happen. Every now and then (even now at 13 weeks) I will get a cramp or twinge.

So it sounds to me like your uterus is making room for either Spe/Lunk or both!

I'll be thinking of you and waiting for the beta results!

Like the others, I had cramping too, heck I still have it at 20 weeks. I think its normal. It feel different than the cramping from my three losses, that's for sure.

Good luck. So very excited for you!!!

Just like the others, I too had cramping. It wasn't very severe, just to make me nervous, and it seemed to go from one side to another. I also had immediate cramping as soon as I put in the supps.

And sometimes there are very few symptoms of pregnancy in the first few weeks. You may get"lucky" and not have many symptoms at all, or they may hit you like a ton of bricks around 6 weeks.

Good luck on your beta! I will be checking back. Wishing you all the best.

During the 2WW I had cramping and a lot of pressure in my uterous, I thought I was going to have my period .... my doctor later told me it was normal because of the expansion of the uterous and "blood rushing" to the uterus (??). My sister had the same cramping. So try not to worry about it. thinking of you!

I also had cramping. The first time I was pregnant (miscarriage) it was much more severe. This time I had cramping every day off and on some times bad but would go away within a half hour. I also think it is common and wouldn't worry! Your uterus is expanding and preparing for the next 9 months. Good luck with the beta! Will they be checking for doubling betas? Just curious....OH and I did notice that the progesterone supps did make me cramp more. I took them at night and my cramps were worse at night after I inserted them. HTH! I'm thinking about you!!

I had a lot of cramping during those early weeks, mostly on the right side. Sharp pains, dull pains, both. I freaked out at one point because What To Expect When You're Expecting doesn't list cramping as a pg symptom: it lists it as something that can go WRONG, and warns that it could be indicative of an ectopic. After I found out I was fine and baby (what little they could see of it) was fine I swore I'd never open that book again.

Bottom line...I had cramping and had a full-term pregnancy. Others I know had cramping and didn't. I think most women I know who had successful pgs did have cramping. I'm not sure there's anything to be made of those facts except that cramping can often be a pregnancy symptom, regardless of what WTEWYE says.

    (thinking of you!)

    Thanks.
Yes, us too, my husband has only 1 testicle and the one that he has is going into testicular failure. He has a very lew sperm count and the poor little guys he does make are so deformed. Hubby had a surgery that went bad 2 years ago and this is as a result if that. We are in the process of suing the doctor, but that is such a lond drawn out process. Thanks for the well wishes and congrats to you and your hubby. I will be thinking of you and checking in to see your progress. We have been ttc for almost 2 years.
